Demolition Ale by Goose Island

Demolition Ale. Belgian-style golden ale. Goose Island. Chicago, Illinois.

Fall 2010.

My review on RateBeer:

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
AHTOH (4) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 4, 2010
650 mL. Poured into Duvel glass. Light golden, straw color. Frothy head lingers for a bit though diminishes to thin layer shortly after. A few clusters form within the thin layer left atop. Almost zero Belgian lace. Sweet tropical fruit aroma. Passion fruit, mango. Some slight citrusy hop aroma. Spicy, yeast scent. Yeasty on front of palate. Slight hops on back of palate. Light mouth feel. Somewhat crisp. Highly quaffable. More similar to Duvel Green than to traditional Duvel. Nice as a potential alternative to Duvel Green, which is only available on tap.
